Did You Know that with your support the POES PTA has been able to continue to fund:
- The moon bounce and inflatable obstacle course used at field day
- All school assemblies
- Help to reduce the cost of various school field trips such as 4th Grade St. Mary's, 5th Grade Mt. Vernon, Chorus- Kings Dominion
- Various technology requests from teachers - over the past several years this includes smartboards and presenters
- Reading counts books and incentives
- The Bare Books program
- Awards and incentives for various other school programs
- Pizza parties for classes who win various in school contests
- Pizza and subs and gift cards for Teacher Appreciation week
- Movie night
- Cultural Night entertainment and crafts
- Provide funds to every teacher for student incentives
- Fulfill teacher fund requests in addition to the incentive funds and technology requests. Such as: classroom books, court yard restoration, recess equipment, various other classroom needs, half of the First in Math fee, and the visiting author

Yearbook Update and Order Forms: Click here
The end of the school year is right around the corner. Yearbooks are still available so get your order in before they are gone. If you can't remember whether or not you ordered one, PLEASE check your checkbook and emails first. You should have received an email confirmation of receipt. If you still have questions, please contact Lisa Garner at lisag1983@msn.com.
The yearbooks will be distributed near the end of the school year.

POES Sign Committee
The PTA would like to have a committe to discuss the issue(s) of a school sign. If you would like to be part of this committee please contact Marty Hammond at Buildingsngrounds@pineyorchardpta.com
Have you noticed other schools have signs where they can post important information? The PTA has set up an account for the school to purchase one of these signs. This will be a multi-year project!
A Black Bucket will be available at the remaining fundraisers this year for contributions.
Also, contributions may be sent to the school at anytime, please label POES Sign Fund.
