• PTA meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm, Media Center
• Tuesday, Jan. 10: PTA Membership Meeting with a special presentation on bullying from Mrs. O’Mara, Guidance Department. Media Center (6:30PM)

Did You Know that with your support the POES PTA has been able to continue to fund:

• The moon bounce and inflatable obstacle course used at field day
• All school assemblies
• Help to reduce the cost of various school field trips such as 4th Grade St. Mary's, 5th Grade Mt. Vernon, Chorus- Kings Dominion
• Various technology requests from teachers - over the past several years this includes smartboards and presenters
• AR books and incentives
• Awards and incentives for various other school programs
• Pizza parties for classes who win various in school contests
• Pizza and subs and gift cards for Teacher Appreciation week
• Movie night
• Cultural Night entertainment and crafts
• Provide funds to every teacher for student incentives
• Fulfill teacher fund requests in addition to the incentive funds and technology requests.  Such as: classroom books, court yard restoration, recess equipment, various other classroom needs,  half of the First in Math fee, and the visiting author
